Announcement No. 1/2022

of the student election commission of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice regarding the organization of elections to the Student Government Association of Silesian University of Medicine in Katowice

Dear Colleagues,

Students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice,

We would like to invite you to participate in the supplementary elections to the SGA.

The number of available positions is 5.

Those who are interested, are asked to e-mail their applications no later than November 12th 2022, 11:59pm. The publication of the names of the candidates on the SGA SUM profile on facebook and instagram will take place on November 13th, 2022.

The elections will be held on-site on November 16th, 2022 (9:00 am – 4:00 pm) and the results will be announced by the 17th of November. The announcement will be through social media platforms.

How to apply?

Applications, i.e. a completed declaration (downloadable template available below) should be sent by e-mail to the following address:samorzad.wnmk@gmail.com <mailto:samorzad.wnmk@gmail.com>.

Remember to use your student e-mail (@365.sum.edu.pl <http://365.sum.edu.pl/>).

The application should be accompanied by a list of support from at least 20 students from the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice (English-language program) with their names, surnames and album numbers.

Optional – Please also attach a short description of the candidate (2-3 sentences) regarding your motivation to apply for the SGA and the goals related to it, along with a photo. They will be used to describe the candidate’s image on the SGA SUM Facebook page and will be directed to voters for information purposes.
