‘concerning winter examination session in the academic year 2021/2022

Dear Students/PhD Students of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice,

I would like to inform you that the winter examination session in the academic year 2021/2022 should be conducted in-person, in compliance with sanitary regime regulations related to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

I would like to remind you of the documents in force, regulating the functioning of the University during the pandemic period, i.e:

– Ordinance No. 156/2021 of 05.10.2021 of the Rector of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice on preventing the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus among the members of the Community of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice,

– Safety procedure during the implementation of the teaching process and scientific-research activities, classes in postgraduate studies, MBA, postgraduate specialist and improvement courses, classes conducted as part of teaching at the SUM First Age University, SUM Secondary Schools, SUM Summer Schools, SUM Third Age Universities and other forms of education in the facilities of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.

I would also like to add that should the University’s supreme institutions (Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Science) introduce separate regulations in this respect, the University will take appropriate action, of which you will be informed in the next announcement.
