IMPORTANT information on NBME Comprehensive Examinations

Location of sites offering NBME Examinations:

  • Prometric Test Centers (located in the USA, Canada and other countires)
  • Medical University of Silesia, Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice, 18 Medyków Street, 40-752 Katowice, POLAND

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Please print out, complete and submit NBME Registration Form and process it along with the exam fee as instructed in the form. Upon submission of the form and payment receipt you will be issued NBME Scheduling Permit which is necessary to sit for the exam.

Please be aware that student/graduate is obliged to find an available Prometric Test Center on their own and the university will NOT take responsibility for no testing appointments available at a preferred Prometric Test Center

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Students/graduates who don’t bring NBME Scheduling Permit signed by appropriate authority to the exam site will not be allowed to take the exam.

Fees for the exams (effective July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025):

  • Comprehensive Basic Science Subject Examination / Prometric Test Center – 150 USD
  • Comprehensive Basic Science Subject Examination / web-based exam in Poland – 60 USD
  • Comprehensive Clinical Science Subject Examination / Prometric Test Center – 150 USD
  • Comprehensive Clinical Science Subject Examination / web-based exam in Poland – 60 USD
