Dear Students,

starting from 10 May 2021, effective until revoked, I hereby:

1. Decide that the classes be continued to be held on-line with reference to the students of the following:
   • Medical analytics, uniform master studies – I, II year of studies,
   • Medical biotechnology, graduate studies – I year of studies,
   • Medical biotechnology, undergraduate studies – I, II year of studies,
   • Medical coaching, graduate studies – I year of studies,
   • Dietetics, undergraduate studies –I, II year of studies,
   • Dietetics, graduate studies –I year of studies,
   • Electroradiology, graduate studies – I year of studies,
   • Electroradiology, undergraduate studies –I, II year of studies,
   • Pharmacy, uniform master studies- I, II year of studies,
   • Physiotherapy, graduate studies – I year of studies,
   • Physiotherapy, uniform master studies – I, II year of studies,
   • Cosmetology, graduate studies – I year of studies,

in all forms of course delivery methods taught in Polish;

1. Decide that the classes be conducted in a hybrid mode with reference to the years of studies not specified above, in all forms of course delivery methods taught in Polish, whereas lectures and seminars shall be continued to be held with the use of distant education methods and techniques;
2. Decide that with reference to the students of programs taught in English, the classes shall be continued to be conducted in accordance with the hybrid mode;

Summer and mid-semester clerkships, and internships shall be continued to be conducted in line with the provisions of the Resolution No. 161/2020 of 8 September 2020, as amended, with reference to all fields and years of study.

Volunteering in the fight against the pandemic will be applied towards clerkship. Pursuant to the Decisions of the Rector of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, the period of student volunteering in the fight against the pandemic shall be deemed to be the excused absence and it shall be applied towards the classes – without necessity to cover those which were missed. The verification of the achieved learning outcomes shall be obligatory.
